How to join: 

1. Read this entire webpage including this so you will know what to expect

2. Send an email to madschooling@gmail.com with your name, kids ages & phone number to be added to the waitlist

3. When a spot opens up you will be invited for a trial visit

4. If you enjoyed your trial visit let us know you'd like to commit to regular attendance and then you will recieve location information for meetups

If you are worldschoolers or a traveling homeschool family that will only reside in Indiana a short time please get in touch because you may be able to meet our requirements for minimum attendance anyway. We have really enjoyed the traveling families that have graced our group!

WHOLE FAMILY WOODLAND IMMERSION EXPERIENCES

LEARN, PLAY, TOUGHEN UP & GET DIRTY!

WHO: Home Educated Students* of any age & their caregiver/s

WHEN: Every Tuesday from 10-1 rain or shine (except for objectively dangerous conditions) 

WHAT: Will largely provide time for free nature play and exploration with other kids, however there will often also be access to books & supplies for learning and play, a story and/or a casual suggestion of craft or activity & occasional guest “teachers”. One of our Forest School Moms will be serving as a leader each week however the leader's role is to make suggestions for behavior, safety, how to participate in activities/hikes and boundaries for free play in the end each caregiver is responsible for their own child/children's level of participation and safety.

WHERE: Rotating wild spaces throughout East Central Indiana. 

HOW DO I JOIN: Join the email list by emailing your first name, phone number & kids ages to madschooling@gmail.com and you'll get the scoop on where we'll be each week. There is no fee or minimum work hours like other co-ops all that we ask is that you are willing to commit to regular attendance and that you read over this whole page before requesting membership to be sure this group is a good fit for you. Almost all of our meetups are free however we occasionally do special field trips and classes or an activity with supplies that requires you to pitch in (you'll be notified ahead of time). 

Please wear weather appropriate, mess friendly clothes and bring a snack/lunch, water and extra clothing.  

*Preschoolers not yet enrolled in school and siblings on break are welcome!
