June 9th

Wild Edibles of your backyard tour & potluck

Come & learn about the wild edible and medicinal plants that can be found in your own backyard! Bring a food and/or drink to share and join us for a potluck dinner picnic (locally foraged items encouraged but not required). 

This event will be rescheduled if it's raining. 4:30pm - ?

The Waters & the Wild Summer camp at Green Township Community Park

Join the fun for a drop off day camp full of nature immersion, community building and outdoor skills and learning. We will be working on some basics of navigation, safety and fun with fire (including friction fires!), outdoor cooking and wild edible plant ID and safe & ethical harvest, natural cordage & shelters, camping etiquette & practice with camping gear, nature art and more! Epic Adventure at the Hoosier National Forest Deam Wilderness!!

Camping is free, first come first serve 

Primitive only (electric RV sites are in the National Park about 20 minutes away)

We will be swimming at a beach on lake Monroe, hunting geodes & creek stomping & for the brave & fit we will be doing a 5 mile roundtrip all day hike to explore an off trail cave!!! Get ready to make lifelong memories with your favorite people!
