Our schedule is done through an email list. Please sign up to get emails so you will get cancellation/reschedule notifications, sign up reminders and the full scoop on all of our activities and gatherings.

All events are open to any families with children that do any type of education at home.
FEBRUARY:
2-7: Forest School Green Township Community park 10-1
2-12: Indiana caverns field trip RSVP required with Jen (email madschooling@gmail.com for phone number)
2-14: forest school valentines party woodland shelter at mounds 10am. Please RSVP by Saturday if you'd like to do the card exchange.
2-16: madschooling nature friends 10-1, meet at Taylor center at koteewi for playdate, hike & exploration. Bring lunch.
2-21: forest school location tba
2-23: Bray Maple syrup field trip through Hamilton county parks. 2 different time slots (Full, there's a wait list so please contact me if you aren't able to make it)
2-26: madschooling nature friends 10-1 playdate, hike & exploration. Bring lunch. location TBA
2-28: forest school at dutro Ernst red tail conservancy preserve in Muncie. Learning about navigation with Robbins family & voting for the child made madschooling logo. (Text Richane for more details if you missed the email & want to participate (email madschooling@gmail.com for phone number))

3-13: nature weaving class forest school with Diana at the Woodland Shelter at Mounds. RSVP required by March 1st respond to this email or text (email madschooling@gmail.com for phone number)
3-15: Art Explorers 4 part class series begins for 6-12 year olds, Fridays 10-11:30 at the old collective roots building with prolific local artist and experienced art teacher Olivia Willard. Sign up & pay by March 1st with Sybilla. There are 5 spots left.

4-10: Nature art journals Forest School 2 location tba
4-14: recipe sharing potluck at APL, 3rd floor. Send a family photo & recipe you plan to use to madschooling@gmail.com by April 1st. Library program, food & drinks & everyone leaves with a recipe booklet

4-28: Forest School for grownups, connect with the forest & access your inner wild woman/man through mindfulness and play activities that will engage all your senses. RSVP required by April 14th, limited spots. Green township park in Fortville. 1-4. Ages 13 & up only.
MAY:

5-3: fishers agripark playdate 10-1
5-5: family cardboard engineering night at the green township park party barn. 4pm bring a drink or dish to share for dinner & some cash to pitch in on building rental & get creative with trash!
5-8: leaf litter critters forest school with Richane, learn about the tiniest of beasts location tba
5-14 - 5-16: green township community Park camping trip & forest school as usual on 5-15
5-22: LC nature park (near fort Wayne) elk and bison babies field trip. RSVP by may 8th to this email or text (email madschooling@gmail.com for phone number). 5$ per kid (2 & under and one adult per family free)
5-27: daleville outdoor learning lab playdate 10-1
5-29: last forest school of the semester location tba
SUMMER:
7-28 - 7-30: camping at Alice's land
8-20 - 8-22: camping at Hoosier National Forest, forest school resumes 8-21 as an all day 5 mile roundtrip hike, epic cave adventure and geode hunting expedition. Swimming at lake Monroe beach on 8-22.
